"They were not gay...". (I half expected to read the Seinfeld bit, "not that there's anything wrong with it".)
Private security guards at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul were pressured to participate in naked pool parties and perform sex acts to gain promotions or assignment to preferable shifts, according to one of 12 guards who have gone public with their complaints.
"It was mostly the young guys fresh from the military who were told they had to participate," said the guard, who talked on a phone hook-up arranged by the Project on Government Oversight, which first revealed photographs of the parties.
"They were not gay but they knew what it took to get promoted," said the guard, spoke on condition that ABC News not publish his name.

"They were not gay...". Yea, we know that they weren't gay. These jerks were acting like they've never seen a penis before. They were acting like 10 year old children out on their first sleep over without adult supervision. These jerks were acting like no self respecting homosexual that I have ever known.
So, exactly why is the military against homosexuals serving our country? Do they think this is the type of behavior that will be taking place in the barracks and on submarines? I have one question for the military. Can you please show us an example of any group of gay or lesbian service members acting in this manner?
So, while our heterosexual contractors are out shaking their dicks in each other's faces, and drinking booze off of the their co-workers asses, the proud service member who happens to be gay or lesbian must serve under the cloak of secrecy, or be discharged if his or her sexual preference is found out.
Why doesn't the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy apply to contractors too? And, if it does, exactly what part of "don't ask, don't tell" did this outrageously inappropriate "partying" not fall under? Oh, I get it. These actions don't qualify as being homosexual because "they were not gay". These were just good healthy boys who liked playing with each other's penises. What is wrong with that? Actually nothing is wrong with that. So why can't gays and lesbians serve in the military?
In any event, the goofs were exposed (in more ways than one) and not only did their dereliction of duty put our country at risk, but they have again proven why contracting wars out to the lowest bidder is not the wisest of policies. If we continue to contract these important assignments out, can we at least implement a "don't ask, don't tell" policy for jerks?
