Please take a moment from your day to protest the county's decision to NOT broadcast President Obama's education message on Tuesday.
I just called the Superintendent's office (571) 252-1020 and e-mailed the Board Chairman, Vice Chairman and At-Large Board Member (the vice-chairman is my district's Board Member).
I kept my message simple (and non-political)
I am appalled at Loundoun County's decision to not allow students the choice to view the President's message. A decision by the President of the United States to take time out of his incredibly busy schedule to acknowledge the importance of eduction warrants an effort by the school district, funded by my tax dollars, to show that message.
If Loundoun County doesn't reverse this decision, I will keep my child home from school to view the message.
