After wandering around the news sites this morning, I stumbled across a headline on the Huffington Post: "Republican Leaders Forming a New Political Group. I clicked on the link and it took me here http://blogs.wsj.com/... to a nice artlicle written by Susan Davis.
More after the jump.
It would seem that some of the big boys are feeling giddy over their recent victories. People like Norm Coleman, Jeb Bush, Karl Rove and Ed Gillespie, to name a few, are starting a grassroots effort called the American Action Network. It is a spinoff of the unsuccessful National Council for a New America. It looks like it should be lots of fun boys and girls; especially if they fail like Freedom Watch. You can read the article here: http://blogs.wsj.com/...
People are already reacting with the usual response to republicans attempting to bamboozle the general populace. Here are a few of my favorites.

.The "group" that are involved in this are all suspect for one reason or another, but all important.
Coleman just dragged Minnesotians thru mud last year with his court case for the Franken/Coleman Campaign. It was fine to do it with the close race, but after they was no obvious misdeeds, he continued to try and drum up more that was not there. I watched this lin the court myself with the understanding that there may be a problem, but he offered nothing and although the judges gave his team every opportunity, there just was nothing going on. He and his comrads just continued to waste Minnesotians time and energy on the court case, and it wsa clear to everyone watching that it was a game or at the very least, very unaware and inexperienced individuals. Not a person to trust this Coleman. Not of either party. Once a democrate, the a republican. Minnesota doesn’t trust him. Not republicans, not any party.
