It's bad enough that the NY Times has given the Tea Party gathering two weeks of run-up coverage, and two days of Sarah on the front page. Now they've really done it.
Check out the way they've now posted their front page story on this Nashville event: http://www.nytimes.com/
Scroll down to mid-page for the Palin coverage headlined "Palin Responds to 'Run Sarah Run'" and look at how they have positioned the add-on links to that story. First comes the video, then comes "Post a comment", then "Read (50)" (meaning the comments) then, get this: "Obama Pledges to Press On."
This last, an afterthought in what they obviously see as the big political news of the day, is a link to their story about the President addressing the Democratic National Committee -- long before Sarah's speech. They have positioned it in such a way that it appears our poor, beleagured President will somehow continue his struggle notwithstanding this bubble-head's suggestion that she might be available to seek his office three years from now.
What the f..k is up with them? Have they no brain at all?
Meanwhile, I sent them, this morning, before they had posted even one comment to their Palin story, the news that they had missed the real story in Nashville, the crib sheet on her palm. They held my comment all day and have just now posted it, after posting 800 others.
No wonder print journalism is dead. I know this isn't real news to anyone reading this blog -- but I had say something anyway. So much for all the news that's fit to print.
