(Bobke speaks at the bottem)
Just another example of the inability of people to work together and unecessary US v themism
Tony Kornheiser went off on cyclists last week -- at one point even saying "run them over" --
USA Today
Said Kornheiser of cyclists:
"And they all, my God, with their water bottles in the back, and their stupid hats, and their shiny shorts, they're the same kind of disgusting posers that in a snowstorm come out with cross-country skis on your block. Run them down."
This type of hatred really has no place on the air.
America's most famous cyclist, Lance Armstrong called him out
Listening to Tony Kornheiser's comments/rant on ESPN radio re: cyclists. Disgusting, ignorant, foolish. What a complete f-ing idiot."
It Seems to me that We can act in a way that promotes Safety and civility

Safety for every cyclist is the top priority of Yield to Life.

The organization was founded by Cyclist Dave Zabriskie who says
I have ridden my bike all over the world, but, sadly, each of the three times that I have been hit by a car has been in the United States
It is my mission to humanize and personalize cyclists to help motorists to always be aware that we are "life" and that we deserve a safe space on the road
Lets help turn the idiocy into something positive.
Yield to Life approach is about safety and Mutual responsibility on the roads. Its a message that is easy to believe in
