The 34 Democrats that voted against historic health care reform are catching a lot of flack today. The calls for primary challenges are a good thing.
But it's time to go on offense.
There are another 34 that should be feeling the pressure. There are 34 Republicans representing districts won by Obama. 34 Members of Congress who should be on a very hot seat after voting against health care.
These 34 have had smooth sailing for the last 18 months. Little pressure has been put on them by the media or activists. That needs to stop. Here are the 34:
CA-3 Dan Lungren*
CA-24 Elton Gallegly
CA-25 Howard P. "Buck" McKeon
CA-26 David Dreier
CA-44 Ken Calvert*
CA-45 Mary Bono Mack*
CA-48 John Campbell
CA-50 Brian P. Bilbray
DE-AL Michael N. Castle* (retire)
FL-10 C.W. Bill Young*
FL-18 Ileana Ros-Lehtinen
IL-6 Peter Roskam
IL-10 Mark Steven Kirk* (retire)
IL-13 Judy Biggert
IL-16 Donald Manzullo
IA-4 Tom Latham
LA-2 Anh "Joseph" Cao*
MI-4 Dave Camp
MI-6 Fred Upton

PA-6 Jim Gerlach*
PA-15 Charlie Dent*
VA-4 J. Randy Forbes
VA-10 Frank R. Wolf

*These 11 districts are "not safe" according to CQ politics.
Of course, Kirk & Castle (others?) are running for Senate. Let's make sure this vote hurts for them.
Time to go on offense.
