We've already seen a disproportionate number of diaries on the flotilla of boats that seeks to create favorable PR with the goal of perpetuating the Hamas terrorist regime. (I note that if their goal was truly delivering aid to the Palestinian people, they could have easily done so with Israel's assistance). This diary will instead focus on a counter flotilla of boats. This flotilla seeks to Free Gaza! Free Gaza from Hamas, that is.
Per the Jerusalem Post, the Free Gaza Flotilla will "will wear bloodstained T-shirts, representing Hamas’s terror record". More on the flip.
It is about time the pro-Israel movement got enough stones to "Speak Truth to Power" and support human rights in the Middle East by opposing the biggest opponent of human rights in the region--Hamas.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the murder of thousands of people.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the lack of foreign aid and assistance the Palestinian people receive from the Europe, the US, and other nations who refuse to do business with terrorists.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the blockade of Gaza by Egypt and Israel.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the failure of the Palestinians to coalesce behind a single negotiating entity.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the demolition of Palestinian homes.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the subjugation of women in Gaza.
Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the mistreatment of gays in Gaza.
And Hamas is single-handedly responsible for the capacity and mockery of young Gilad Shalit.
This is long since overdue... We can not wait around anymore while human rights are trampled by the Hamas regime. We must all stand behind the movement to Free Gaza from Hamas. And to that end, I strongly support the Free Gaza flotilla mentioned in the Jerusalem Post article. I hope they will put out a website so that we can track their progress as they sail into international waters.
I urge you all to contact your members of Congress to express your strong opposition to the Hamas regime. Unless we can Free Gaza from Hamas, peace in Gaza will not occur.
