Legitimate climate scientists cannot deny the truth of global cooling.*
Remote Sensing Systems analysis of NASA satellite data show much cooler temperatures for the past 15 years than the previous 15 years.
Scientists at the University of Alabama Huntsville have confirmed the global cooling data reported by Remote Sensing Systems, Incorporated. Global cooling* is real and confirmed by independent scientific analysis.
*Global Lower Stratospheric Cooling
Cooling of the lower stratosphere is a critical test of climate science models that predict global warming of the earth's surface and the lower atmosphere known as the troposphere. Greenhouse gases in the lower atmosphere trap heat by adsorbing radiation from the surface, radiating heat downwards and radiating heat to space at low upper tropospheric temperatures.
Climate science models predict lower stratospheric cooling as a consequence of increasing CO2 and greenhouse gas levels. These figures are consistent with the model predictions. Lower stratospheric cooling is also happening because of the loss of stratospheric ozone at the poles. Ozone is a powerful greenhouse gas that warms the stratosphere. The Antarctic ozone hole has contributed to strong stratospheric cooling over Antarctica.
The combination of record high surface temperature measurements and stratospheric cooling is very strong evidence of anthropogenic greenhouse gas warming. A warming sun warms both the troposphere and the stratosphere.
Global surface temperatures in March - May, 2010 were the warmest ever measured by thermometers.
Record heat has killed thousands of south Asians.
An acute heat wave has claimed the lives of at least 1,065 people in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
The death toll in the state is now higher than in a similar disaster last year, which claimed 1,037 lives.
Some parts recorded temperatures of over 50C as weather officials say the monsoon, expected at this time of the year, has been delayed.
The coastal regions of Andhra and Telangana have experienced temperatures almost 10 degrees higher than the seasonal average.
Temperatures reached 128 degrees Fahrenheit in a record shattering heat wave in May.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that Delhi, India was anomalously warm during the month. The average daily maximum temperature for May was 41.5°C (106.7°F), which is 1.9°C (3.4°F) above the long-term average. The highest temperature experienced during the month was 45.4°C (113.7°F); the all-time maximum May temperature for Dehli is 47.2°C (116.9°F) which occurred on May 29th 1944. Minimum daytime temperatures during the month were also very warm, averaging 27.8°C (82.0°F), which is 1.9°C (3.4°F) above the long-term mean.
According to the Pakistani Meteorological Service, a record-breaking heatwave affected portions of that country during the last week of May. Temperatures on May 26th soared to over 53.0°C (127.4°F) in several locations, which the highest temperature of 53.5°C (128.3°F) measured in MahenjuDaro.
While global warming deniers with their heads in the stratosphere can say correctly that global warming is bull (in the stratosphere), people on earth are dying from the heat.
And huge temperature anomalies in the Arctic caused record low snow levels in May and record shattering rates of melting of Arctic sea ice.
The record sea ice melt threatens Arctic ecosystems.
Record shattering warm temperatures in the Atlantic ocean's main development region for hurricanes will strongly contribute to a very intense hurricane season according to multiple forecasts.
Efforts to control the spill and kill the leaking well are likely to be stymied by strong storms in the Gulf of Mexico.
Now is the time to tell Americans the truth about fossil fuels. They are causing global cooling.
In the stratosphere.
And anyone who denies global warming has his head in the stratosphere.
Green jobs, a vibrant economy and a healthy future are the rewards we will win if we chose renewable energy. Hell on earth is what we will reap by continuing business as usual burning fossil fuels.
