The RNC has launched a web video attacking Obama's pace of responding to the oil disaster in the Gulf.
In a preview of what will no doubt be a prominent line of attack in the run-up to the November midterm election, the Republican National Committee has released a Web ad accusing President Obama of slow action on the Gulf oil spill crisis. The ad hits Obama for waiting 58 days to talk to BP executives face to face, even as he took time to play golf half a dozen times, raise money for Democratic candidates and hang out with celebrities, including Paul McCartney
I'm now in a back and forth with a friend on Facebook who lives on the Gulf Coast in Floria and posted the link to the article. I asked him what exactly he would have Obama do? Should he be manning the robots himself and personally dig the relief wells? He answered back that he doesn't know what Obama should be doing, but he shouldn't be playing six rounds of golf.
My request from you guys is a request to help me form a rebuttal.
How long did it take for W. to go make his first visit to the Gulf Coast after Katrina? How many rounds of golf did Bush play before his first visit? I know he had the photo op on the tarmac with McCain the day the hurricane came ashore, but I'm looking for help compiling a list of things he did while NOLA drowned.
