Despite a firm resolve to visit DKos, without commenting, here I am again. It is impossible for me to ignore diaries that include a call to action.
more below the fold
Having read Bobswern's diary, the links, the comments, I was hoping someone else would offer suggestions on how members of this blog could "Help the Poor" among us. ("Charity begins at home"? Note to self: this site was very generous in providing help to Haiti, our Armed Forces, the grieving, and many other community based works that make a difference in the lives of others.)
On to another diary that had an interesting title, "Saving Tinkerbell", leading to my recognition that there are opportunities to participate in Bob's number 1 call to action. How is my question. Is it helping one person at a time?
Do we have, or need a community here that is dedicated to helping the less fortunate who share our values? Would it be appropriate, viable for the owner of this site to consider? I would rather help a real person in trouble than a politician who perpetuates the status quo.
