and Outline Preventative Healthcare Measures
This fall, under the Affordable Care Act, health insurance plans will be required to cover preventative care services without charging the patient a deductible or co-payment. Preventative care includes certain cancer screenings, blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol tests and counseling services and routine vaccines.
For further details on this plan, Obama and Biden pointed to the new consumer resource HealthCare.gov,
A Comprehensive website on Health Care "Options" for Americans.
First Lady Obama described it as "the first website that pulls all public and private health care options into an easy-to-use tool that asks a few questions and provides you with a personal list of options."
The site also provides information on the various benefits offered under the Affordable Care Act.
