John Hickenlooper is out with his first ad of the cycle. Those When Hick first ran for Mayor, he came from no where to beat several seasoned politicians in Denver.
He did so largely on the quirky ads which he did, which were not produced by an inside the beltway firm. People still remember those ads from 5 years ago and they still talk about them.
Well, Hick's first ad does not dissapoint. NWOTSOTB. See it here.
Its funny which people like. People in Colorado at least hate all the negativity and hate the world of politics. Hick exchews normal politics in both campaigning and governing. People recognize this and this ad reminds us all of just who Hickenlooper is.
In the end, the tag line is just priceless. Most of Colorado's population lives in the high desert. Water is an issue near and dear to our hearts and essential for our well-being. So, it is funny, but has a little kick.
This commercial made me laugh. I nominate it for the best commercial so far this season.
And remember, there's more to come. Hick has already reserved #1.5M in advertising time as of August 1. Much more to come.
