This short diary is dedicated to remembering America's first 9/11 victims who were murdered in the Utah territory in the year of 1857 by a group of rogue fundamentalists, religious zealots wherein it is believed that 120 American men, women and children were murdered.
According to modern forensic scientists at the University of Utah they were for the most part, shot in the head execution style. This diary in no way attempts to fix historic blame for this act of religious zealotry onto any one group, rather it merely asks, that we stand in solidarity with their modern day descendants in remembrance of their passing.
This diary also provides a link to the Wikipedia site, which features the memorial which was erected to these fallen Americans, as part of our American history. They too should be remembered, and their untimely passing also should not be forgotten on this day 9/11, which is the anniversary of their passing.
So it is that this short diary asks you to please say a prayer for them and their living descendants, or alternately if you are not a person of faith, this diary asks that you please consider taking a moment out of your day to reflect on the passing of America's first 9/11 victims on US soil.
This is a sombre day indeed of reflection for the American people, both for the victims of 9/11 of 2001, and 9/11 of 1857. Their passing will not be forgotten as we as people of faith pray to the almighty God to bless their souls and their survivors. To reiterate for Americans who are not people of faith we can stand together in silent reflection on September 11. Thank you.
