Enthusiasum Gap. Oh yes there is. I have a couple of friends who are tea baggers and they are fired up. One has never voted before and cant wait to do so, he keeps asking me when his absentee ballot will arrive. The other attends the all the rallies that his job with the state allows him too. Makes his signboards. "Stop the Taxes, Stop the Maddness". They are excited and on a mission.
Im a lifelong democrat union member who always votes democratic. The only time Ive voted Republican was when I registered Republican so I could vote for Bruce Herchinsomething in the Calif. Republican Primary. It was the frist time B. Boxer was running for senate. Bruce was a little futher to the right of Attila the Hun so I knew he was the one to help. It worked out fine, he won the primary and lost the general election. Now the Republicans dont need my help, they've done the work for me. I was pissed after R.Gibbs told me to sit down and shut up. I eamiled the President and said I would sit out this election. No vote, no money, no nuthing. I said maybe a couple of years of wandering in the wilderness might be good for the party. Am I dissapointed in the President? Of course I am. DADT,DOMA,Public Option, ect. ect. But acting like a spoiled 12 year old feels good but its not the way to go. So I will vote, write some checks, and try to get that feeling back that I had in 2008. The fire in the belly, knowing that we would win and win big. So ante up, get fired up. Wouldn't it be nice on the morning after the election to hold the house and the senate. And the Tea Party has done thier share. 3rd Party candidate here, Write in Candidate there. 2ond Amendment remidies here, Anti 14th amendments there.
p.s.I apologise for the spelling and grammmer, I went to school in america.
