The Gaza Freedom March solidarity march in the Minneapolis skyway system was a successful event, but more actions are required to lift the siege of Gaza and to realign U.S. foreign policy with international law.
This video by Jeff Strate does the march some justice, and takes a poke at some local media for not being more inquisitive and covering this rally:
FWIW, the target of this rally was not the media, but potential participants, for people who would support the lifting of the siege if they knew more about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and the role of the United States in maintaining it.
I am happy with the turnout, and we distributed more than 10,000 union printed handbills to doors and passed out many more face to face in promoting the two local events we have had so far in this campaign.
