Mr. Erickson of RedState has every right and an excellent forum to advocate any position he wishes. He also has the right to criticize any position he wishes. Unfortunately for him it is illegal to facilitate or promote the destruction of others ability to communicate their beliefs, politically organize or campaign.
Mr. Erickson not only has violated Federal law in regard to elections and use of interstate communications. He is furthermore in breach of the code of conduct for elected office in the State of Georgia. This diary puts a focus on his probable violation of his oath of office and Georgia Code of Conduct.
If the Citizen of Macon Georgia, and the State of Georgia wish, they should undertake to bring this matter to the attention of correct investigation units and file the needed forms.
Follow below the fold for a how to, and links to begin to work from.
Mr. Eric Erikson is an elected City Councel member of the City of Macon Georgia.
Hon. E. Erikson's Page
As such he is not only subject to all the legal restrictions of any citizen he is bound to the code of conduct of elected officials in the State of Georgia: At a minimum it would involve compliance with:
Complete GA Ethics Rules as pertains to election activity
He is further subject to the Ethics in Government Act.
Complete Text of 2009 Ethics in Govt. Act (State of GA)ct of the state of Georgia.
I will call particular attention to the strict limits and rules placed on political activity allowed by any elected official in Georgia. Mr. Erikson is not only in violation of the spirit of the intentions of non-interference in another campaign, he is likely in violation of the law due to the financial value of unpaid professional services which have strict monetary value caps. As Mr. Erikson is using paid professional assets to undertake a political action, the value of that action and the use of the asset is subject to the Ethics in Govt. Act.
The GA Ethics in Government act, further carries defined prohibitions against the act of or the advocate for the disruption of protected political acitivity.
It is illegal to disrupt, or advocate the disruption of any parties right to politically organize.
It is further illegal to use, or advocate the use, of interstate communications to harass or intimidate any party.
The State of Georgia has a process in place to investigate unethical acts by elected officials or unethical acts undertaken in an election.

Further the City of Macon is subject to the same rules, and may have further code of conduct prohibiting the disruption of democratic processes by locally elected officials.
The City Attorney would appear from the web to be the correct point of contact for this action.

Mr. Erickson has moved from strong political advocacy to incitement, solicitation and support of illegal activity.
This may also make him subject to RICO.
I will continue to read on the specifics of GA State Law as regards to interference in elections and incitement to illegal acts.

UPDATE:
It was pointed out I did not state what acts Mr. Erikson undertook. My apologies.
As his actions were covered extensively on this site earlier. I did not think to repeat.
In Short: Mr. Erickson posted his web site, the location and other relevant data of all or most of the phone banks for Coakley, then advocated processes, techniques and practices to disrupt those phone banks.
He also offered his site as the clearinghouse to facilitate these illegal acts.
