Hello to all of you Krazy Kossacks. I offer this as the usual brief diversion from the latest outrage or tragedy. I hope you enjoy your visit here. This episode consists of photos I shot yesterday during a morning visit to Hamakua Marsh in Kailua and on a drive up the windward side of Oahu ending at the North Shore for a rather disappointing sunset.

Green Turtle or Honu
There is a beach on the north shore that the turtles like to pull out and rest. This turtle is called Brutus by the researchers. He lost the tip of his right rear flipper in a tiger shark attack. I learned this from the naturalist at the site.
