Below the fold.
immigration
We are NOT against illegal immigrants because we hate "brown" people.
>Our citizens NEED the jobs that illegals are taking.
>Our health system can't afford and doesn't have room for illegals.
>We spend millions catering to their refusal to learn to speak English. They should pay for learning English themselves.
>They are felons for coming or staying illegally.
>We are getting overpopulated fast enough, we don't need these illegals and their large families to make our lifestyle unsustainable.
`Go ahead with this E-verify.
`Stop Chain immigration immediately.
`Stop citizenship to those born here to illegals immmediately.
`Let them know that when the E-verify system is complete, there will be no jobs, no schooling, no healthcare, no food stamps--nothing, and that they have the time it takes to finish E-verify (about two years) to take themselves home. It will be much easier for them to take themselves home than if was for them to come here in the first place!
Huh. So really, the right-wing opposition to immigration has nothing to do with racism or bigotry? It really is a policy disagreement, born from the belief that American citizens are lining up to pick crops, slaughter cows, scrub toilets, and manicure laws? Great! That makes me feel better. Because while I disagree with anti-immigrant sentiment, I don't mind a policy debate over fighting hate and bigotry. Thanks!
Liberal Scum
You scumbag liberals should be bleached white. All the niggers, spicks, slants and jews should be cleaned up.
I would trade two illegal greasers in the USA for one of you scum sucking liberals to Mexico.
I will even throw in a few tacos.
Oh. Nevermind.
From a "brown person", who's a Republican
I am a "brown person", and I dislike illegal aliens invading my country, and siphoning off of federal dollars and services paid for by my taxes while creating crime stricken slums in the area I live in, and driving up my taxes with their use of our educational and medical systems.
While I have met and recognize that many illegal families are here for a chance at a better life, invading another country and gaming the system is morally wrong, legally wrong, and should not be tolerated. There is a reason no other country in the world including Mexico tolerates it. They can apply for guest worker programs and go back home when they are done, they can immigrate legally and follow the process, or they can stay in their country and work for real change if they want a better life. If China were south of our border, our collective rage would be directed at Chinese illegal immigrants. Naturally, since the hispanic nations to the south of us make up the majority of the illegal aliens, it follows logically that most of us are ticked off at the infulx of hispanic illegal aliens. We don't "hate" them (except the MS 13 and Mexican Mafia, I do hate them for being sub-human bastards), but we do dislike them coming here and taking advantage of our largesse.
While that logic obviously eclipses Mr. Zuniga's intellectual ability, it is fairly evident that the majority of Republicans and Democrats do not like amnesty, illegals, or any attempt to reward illegal and criminal behavior with US citizenship - which is a privilege to be earned, not conferred upon people who don't deserve it by virtue of having broken the very laws they purport to want to live under.
Sincerely
Mark Walser

Actually, the majority of Americans -- Republicans, Democrats, and otherwise -- DO approve of comprehensive immigration reform. The polling is very clear on that.
But really, just 'cause you're brown, doesn't mean you aren't afraid of brown people. That much is clear from this email.
The Party of No
Why aren't the Democrats and Obama considered the party of "No"? They say "NO" to tort reform. They say "NO" to purchasing health across states. Way is the left afraid of these Republican initiatives? Hare you ever considered that the left is a victim of group-think? Learn to think out of the box.
It ain't just the left that's afraid of Republican initiatives. The rest of the country still remembers what happened after eight years of them.
But it's true. Republicans aren't just about "no". They're also about "Yes! Give the banks bigger tax breaks, and don't make them repay TARP funds!" And, "Yes! Let's send our men and women in uniform to die in yet more misbegotten foreign lands!" And let's not forget, "Yes, let's let foreigners buy American elections by funneling cash through their US-based corporations!"
But really, nothing says "I oppose group think and think outside the box" like advocating for tired old GOP tropes like "tort reform". Why not be REALLY crazy and ORIGINAL and propose tax cuts while you're at it?
lakersrule00: dude ur views are so far left i can see russia from my porch
Ahh, a good ol' hate twit. Only problem is that I just don't get it. Apparently, this guy thinks the geographic placement of his porch has something to do with my political leanings and that Russia is a leftist country. And really, when mocking a liberal, perhaps it's not a good idea to take down Sarah Palin as collateral damage. The wingnut mind can sure be a confusing place.
In any case, one of our new writers, Angry Mouse has been kicking ass on these pages, and last week had a rite of passage -- her first hatemail. It was in response to this piece.
Terrorism?
You are one truly disturbed, evil, and highly uneducated individual to call
a peaceful act an act of terrorism. I am pro-choice and want the government
out of my life in just about every aspect. I don't understand the people
who murder the abortion doctors, they are
murdering just like they think the doctors are which makes no sense.
Anyone who is pro-life is allowed to hand out whatever they like. You
demean religion, which you will pay the ultimate price when you eventually
pass away, not a smart thing. You progressives are hated to such a point
now by the vast majority of the country that I am starting to believe your
life could be in danger down the road if you keep writing articles like
this. There is a big anti-liberal, anti- progressive movement out there if
you at all paid to recent elections. Tread carefully with your articles,
you are allowed to speak your mind, just do it in a respectful way, not the
arrogant way you wrote this one.
Take care
Since Angry Mouse is new to hate mail, let me translate this mess of an email into actual English:
"Uneducated" = Disagrees with me, because it certainly doesn't mean actual edcuation
"Demean religion" = note that doctor assassins use religion as justification for their murders
"I am pro-choice" = I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about
"You will pay the ultimate price" = You will burn in hell, which is probably much better than spending eternity in heaven with me
"Your life could be in danger down the road" = We will embrace domestic terrorism if you don't stop talking about domestic terrorism
"If you at all paid to recent elections" = I pretended that Oregon's tax initiative didn't happen, and Massachusetts was a vote against universal health care, even though Massachusetts already has universal health care
"Tread carefully with your articles" = I am a fascist censor
"You are allowed to speak your mind" = only speak if you agree with me
"arrogant way" = saying something I disagree with
"Take care" = I'm a fake piece of shit
I See Clearly Now....
Markos have you lost your mind. I knew you were a former Republican and now you are acting like them again. Why don't you attack the Republican party huh? Why are you always attack President Obama and not congress. I see clearly now that you are a DINO. Why are you not going after the republican party and help exposing them and expose parts of congress who tries to obstruct and the DINOS WHO ALSO HELP WRITE THE LAWS AND IMPLEMENT THEM. THAT IS WHY CONGRESS IS CALLED THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH!
Executive Laws can be overturned by Executive Branch but can not overturn Legislative Laws(AKA Separation of Powers). President Obama can only tell congress what he wants but congress got to implement it. The real Problem is the senate, the Republicans and DINOS.
So if you are going to attack some one damn it attack the damn Senate and stop being an A$$.
Got it or I will be calling you out more and exposing your hypocrisy!
I had never considered attacking Republicans or the Senate. I better get to it, lest I get exposed for my hypocrisy!
Although I don't think "hypocrisy" means what this guy thinks it does...
jimmysimpson55: @markos Poor little Marky in his big, lonely closet. You need profanities to make points and amuse yourself. How sophisticated of you PFC
Another hate Twitter. Get it, I'm gay! And that's bad! Although why I'd be in the closet is a mystery. It's not like I'm a Republican in a Minnesota airport stall. Or Charlie Crist. And really, if I was gay, I would've gotten a lot more action than any short, skinny straight guy ever gets. Let's be honest about that. No closet would've kept me locked up given those opportunities!
But the really funny thing here is the "PFC" thing. It seems the wingers have convinced themselves that I only reached the rank of Private First Class in my three years in the Army. Aside from having those chickenhawks mock my military service, there's no reason for them to believe that, other than their typical anti-reality based approach to the world.
I was actually an E-4 specialist when I got out, and turned down an invitation to go to NCO (sergeant) school because I had no intention of re-enlisting. Still, it drives them crazy that it was precisely that military service that made me a liberal. It burns them to see their carefully constructed lies challenged by reality.
