I'm confused--truly. I thought dkos was supposed to be for electing democrats. This, sadly, turns out not to be the case and I was mistaken when I signed up here?
There's a reason why I stopped reading politico and huffpost long ago. There's a reason why I only read firedoglake for about a week before seeing what that was really all about over there. I thought dailykos was unique, which is why I stay around (although I do take breaks as needed). But, now, apparently fdl has taken over half this site? What's going on? If I wanted to read fdl and support what they do, I'd go to their site. Is dkos and fdl merging to increase traffic to both or what? Even when I thought it almost wasn't worth being here anymore, the candidate and legislative action diaries, policy info diaries, plus blackwaterdog's diaries kept me around. Now, here we have a time when some are trying to push action for a candidate and you immediately get a bunch of fdl people and like-minded naysayers posting like mad to quelch enthusiasm and actively work against getting the candidate elected because of their personal disappointment and/or vendettas against the president and the party. I don't get it. This site has become counterproductive. I'm out.
