Now that no one is holding the Chamber of Commerce legally accountable, and the fact that Fox News has become nothing more than a PAC for the Reagan/Bushites, let us not, please all pretend, that we did not see this all coming from miles, and years away. We did.
But as the 'good Democrats' that we were, denying what Karl Rove, did, which has now turned into the new Tea Party movement, and what we allowed our own Supreme Court to do, which was to virtually finish off, the first of many open highways, to allow the Oligarchy, the Military Industrial Complex, the Banking and Wall Street Industry, to ignore all laws, what I refuse to do, is to sign on the dotted line, to pretend, none of this happened, as the scorch and burn politics took on a new predatory movement, that destroyed our entire nation.
Democrats, just don't fucking get it, or, we do not realize, what Congressman Alan Grayson has, or what Elizabeth Warren, and even every single respected financial website on the internet have realized:
We've been had, and it simply is crumbling before our eyes.
This is the same and basic premise of truth in our nation, that feed the Tea Baggers, and why we are where we are today:
Krugman: "The Question Is Whether Our Economy Is Governed By Any Kind Of Rule Of Law"
And the real answer to that is now become very clear to all Americans:
It is not.
This is the choice that President Obama was given, and he chose to join the exact same forces, that President Clinton did, and to believe, that these two President's were even remotely aware of their real base, is a travesty of our party.
I suppose you can pretend to 'pretend' that our own party is fighting against NAFTA, or for the Unions, or for the Middle Class, but in the end, all we really need to look at, is what is going on in our nation now, don't we?
The horrible truth is that when both of these President's gave up the rule of law, they invited into our nation, the new and second generation of Fake Christian Perverts, and Fake Foreign Money, that is now going to overtake our entire nation.
Do you think that was a mistake? Do you actually think this was not thought out and calculated by our own party?
Think again people. I happen to find our own party as either stupid, naive, or unwilling to understand how the politics have actually changed in our nation, but I do know someone who has Krugman and Alan Grayson, Eliot Spitzer, Simon Johnson, and so many others..
Our party has become like the party of the 'beaten wives' who keep forgiving those that led us into this Karl Rove Tea Party Movement, and now, guess what? It's all coming down:
Paul Krugman writes:
The mortgage mess is making nonsense of claims that we have effective contract enforcement — in fact, the question is whether our economy is governed by any kind of rule of law. True to form, the Obama administration’s response has been to oppose any action that might upset the banks, like a temporary moratorium on foreclosures while some of the issues are resolved. Instead, it is asking the banks, very nicely, to behave better and clean up their act. I mean, that’s worked so well in the past, right? The response from the right is, however, even worse .... conservative commentators like those at The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page have come out dismissing the lack of proper documents as a triviality. In effect, they’re saying that if a bank says it owns your house, we should just take its word. To me, this evokes the days when noblemen felt free to take whatever they wanted, knowing that peasants had no standing in the courts. But then, I suspect that some people regard those as the good old days.
I'm happy that someone as prominent as Krugman is weighing in on the side of the rule of law.
I've been banging on this drum for years:

Karl Denninger makes a similar point today:
Charles Hugh Smith [writes]:
Either there is due process of law or you have a kleptocracy/"banana republic" oligarchy. At present, that is the decision we face as a nation. If the banking Elites and their partners in the Central State (Fed and Treasury) are allowed to "win" and gut the property laws of the states, then the U.S.A. will be revealed as a kleptocracy/"banana republic" oligarchy.
If state laws are upheld, then the "too big to fail" banks are insolvent and they will fail. Then the question of kleptocracy arises once again: will the banks be allowed to fail as per Classic Capitalism, that is, their owners and managers will have to absorb the losses of that bankruptcy/failure, or will the Central State use its powers to collect taxes and cover the private losses of the Bank/Financial Power Elites? Privatizing profits and socializing losses has been the entire game plan since the global house of cards collapsed in 2008.
It's decision time, citizens. Either the banks/Central State "win" and we are a kleptocracy/ "banana republic," or they lose and the U.S. mortgage/ banking sector implodes and is either formally socialized (i.e. owned lock, stock and barrel by the Central State) or rebuilt from scratch without big banks, Federal guarantees and the Fed's incestuous interventions. ("We create the credit that enables the mortgage, you issue the mortgage, and then we buy the mortgage.") There is no "fix" or half-measure that can patch this over now.

Yes, I know I am repeating the same information I repeated in my diary the other day, but that does not change the essential message of this message to all Democrats:
We somehow thought, and rightfully so, if we continued to be 'good Americans' and depend upon our party to stand up for Middle Class Americans, that all would be well in the end, only what we did not realize was this:
The rules have changed, and they have changed drastically.
We should have learned that lessons under the Clinton's, but we did not, we should have learned that under what they did to Kerry and Max Cleland..we did not, did we?
In a phone interview on Monday, former Georgia Sen. Max Cleland was upbeat – "What's goin' on, kid?'' – and quick to laugh. But after losing his U.S. Senate seat to an opponent who ran post-9/11 TV ads that showed the decorated Vietnam vet alongside Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, Cleland fell into a depression he was afraid he might not pull out of. It was public service, he says, that had given his life shape and meaning after he left three limbs on a battlefield in Khe Sanh. But without that role, the old darkness came back. Along with his job and his bearings, he lost his relationship with his fiancée. "That's emotionally and physically over,'' he told me. "That's gone.'' And for a time, he was once again a patient at Walter Reed, where he'd first been put back together nearly four decades earlier – and was now surrounded by vets from Iraq and Afghanistan: "I cried uncontrollably for 2 ½ years.''
In his new memoir, "Heart of a Patriot: How I found the Courage to Survive Vietnam, Walter Reed and Karl Rove," written with Ben Raines, Cleland describes his journey to hell and back, twice, this last time because "Karl Rove managed to take away our service,'' he says, referring to himself and his friend and fellow veteran John Kerry. Visually, the 2002 ad for his Republican opponent, Saxby Chambliss, suggested that Cleland was in league with terrorists, while the voice-over announced that he'd voted against the Homeland Security legislation he had actually co-sponsored. Can you ever really let something like that go? "You have to have a sense of God in charge,'' he says. "Which really pisses me off.'' He only made the return trip to the land of the living at all, he says, thanks to God, Cymbalta, and "a 12-Step group that meets Tuesday nights in Washington, for people whose lives have crashed and burned.'' Asked if the faith he's talking about is new for him, he laughs and says that at age 67, "the sense that a power greater than myself could save my rear end is!''

The point I am trying to make in this diary is this:
Nothing has changed from the Karl Rove days of Bush, and neither has President Clinton or Obama, and that is what we have lost:
The 'most basic rule of law' in our nation. What part of that do we do not understand, and what part of that do we do not understand why the Tea Party Karl Rovers are again taking over?
They are.
We deeply needed a new voice in the American spectrum of our nation, and you know who the Republican party has spent over 20 percent of their highly questionable, money on to defeat?
Congressman Alan Grayson, that is who.
Do you even wonder why? Well I don't. What Democrats do not understand, which is exactly what Karl Rove does, is that the entire political landscape had changed in our nation, but Alan Grayson totally gets it.
Sorry the wake up call Democrats, but everything has changed. Everything, but we are still sitting in the 'old days' ...we just simply are in denial and delusion, of the 'cost' of not just how much it has changed,
but what we must do to fight it all.
In the 'old' days, I thought that our 'old' party was working to restore American jobs, I've given that dream up, long ago, because of the following:
Every single law in this nation has been overturned, and not returned by the Obama Administration:
From the illegalities of Bush's illegal movements into other nations to uphold the Military Industrial Complex.
To refuse to uphold and repeal DODT, laws, that all most of Europe has declined, and set straight...
To refuse and to uphold, what we actually know, that Wall Street, is now fully in charge of our nation, that has intentionally and knowingly destroyed our nation;
To refuse and to uphold, the Public Option, and a return to Glass-Steagall, that protected Americans for so very long.
I suppose I could refuse to acknowledge all of this, had not President Obama assigned two needless and bullshit commissions to sign onto the Clinton Neo Liberal-Neo War Mongers establishment:
The New Fake Pecora Commission and of course the new Cat Food Commission, but he did both, and worse than he has chose to stay silent, and send up nothing more than trail balloons in face of real leadership.
If you actually believe that these two reports, by both CommissionsI are due out during Christmas time, then perhaps you just don't fucking get it do you?
From the get go, it was all a huge 'cover up' and that is why we are going to have handed to us, the absolute worst of the worst:
The New Karl Rove Supreme Court Take Over of entire government, but this is what we do not yet realize:
This was the plan all along, and the only candidate that saw it all coming was Congressman Alan Grayson.

Dear U.S. Attorney O’Neill and Director Mueller,
When it comes to foreclosures, there is mounting evidence of a state of rampant lawlessness in Central Florida. There are increasing signs that big banks routinely evade laws meant to protect homeowners, in many well-documented cases of ‘foreclosure fraud.’ Despite the demonstrated existence, for instance, of ‘robosigners’ signing affidavits attesting to documents that they have never seen, the parties engaging in such misconduct are not being brought to justice. Big banks are mischaracterizing this as mere ‘technical problems,’ and apologizing only where there is clear and very public evidence of harm.
It is not enough for big banks only to apologize for fraud, perjury, and even breaking and entering – when they are caught. It is time for handcuffs. Fraud does not become legal just because a big bank does it.
On September 20, 2010, after my office found evidence of systemic foreclosure fraud perpetrated by big banks and foreclosure mills, I called for a halt to illegal foreclosures.
Since then, big banks such as Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, GMAC, PNC and others have suspended foreclosures or foreclosure sales. These banks are still claiming that the massive fraud they have perpetrated amounts to nothing more than a series of technical mistakes. This is absurd. This is deliberate, systemic fraud, and it is a crime.
To give but two of the many available examples, attached is a deposition from an ex-employee of one of the largest ‘foreclosure mills’ in the state, the Law Offices of David Stern. In it, this employee testifies under oath that it was routine for that office to falsify documents regarding military records, in order to move foreclosure cases along more quickly.
The local media has reported on the case of Nancy Jacobini; a contractor for JP Morgan Chase broke into her home after the bank mistakenly foreclosed on it. JP Morgan Chase ‘apologized’ for terrifying her. But , US ; we have a system of laws. I am writing to ask you to enforce them.
The organized and systematic manufacturing of falsified documents to deprive people of their homes is not only a threat to the integrity of the legal system. It also aggravates and extends the weakness in the housing market. Who is going to feel comfortable buying a home if a big bank can simply take it, whether or not that bank has a right to it? Given the securitization of mortgage-backed securities, this misconduct is a threat to our securities markets as well. But fundamentally, this is a question of protecting basic property rights – if you don’t own it, then you shouldn’t try to take it. Without clear property rights, and a legal system that insists on clear proof of those rights before transferring ownership by force, the economy will fall apart.
If perpetrators of perjured affidavits and other systematic criminal activity can get off simply with civil liability – or even less, an insincere bureaucratic apology – the freedom that Americans enjoy will erode quickly in the face of lawless seizures of property. I appreciate your work on the joint Middle District of Florida’s Mortgage Fraud Initiative, and respectfully request that the efforts of your offices turn towards reining in this rampant criminality.
Regards,
Alan Grayson
Member of Congress

With all of 50 States now presenting themselves in unison for the basic rule of law..
Where is President Obama and Geithner?
Missing in Action, as usual.
And now we all are paying the greatest cost of all, aren't we. Only let us not have the courage to say, that we did not see this coming, that the face of American politics have changed, and that the Democrats, did not have the courage:
To stand up with 'guts' and demand the rule of law, because we did, and now the day of the 'law between the States' and the law that President Obama and Clinton refused to stand up for is before us.
The 'landscape' has changed in our nation. We so wanted to believe it did not, but it did. The rules have changed. All civility has changed. All sanity has changed, because the basic laws of our nation, have been suspended, and not upheld.
The Middle Class knows this. So why, is Obama doing the 'all fired up and ready to go routine' again?
Guess, what folks, it ain't working.
The reason it is not working is because both our parties are sold off to the max, and guess what?
Karl Rove and his new fake new Tea Party candidates have won, because the illegal takeover of our nation by the Corporations are in full tilt boogie operation, and what we do not realize is this:
This was the plan all along.
At least in Europe, they get what has been going on for thousands of years, in our nation, we are too stupid, to realize, this most basic premise of what has happened:
The Robber Barons have won, as we will be the last ones to know in the end.
Thanks as always, wish it were not so, by at least, one person, Congressman Alan Grayson knew this from the get go.
