After the news exploded about Joe Miller's thugs arresting and handcuffing a journalist, the news spread like wildfire.
Precious little was out on video though.
I have found this video just out in the local Alaskan Paper, The Anchorage Daily News.
I find it quite frightening, how about you?

Here's video shot yesterday by ADN reporter Richard Mauer after Alaska Dispatch editor Tony Hopfinger was handcuffed and detained by security guards working for Senate candidate Joe Miller at a campaign event yesterday. The video starts after Hopfinger was placed in handcuffs and before Anchorage police arrived. The voice in the video is Mauer.
UPDATE
Thanks for the tips and recc's people. Sorry the diary was so short, but I was so stunned when I caught the video that I just wanted you all to see it straight away.
Have been watching the comments roll in as people read the article in the ADN. It is not going well for Joe Miller...........
Joe Miller’s town hall meeting was a public event, open to the public, on public property, like a fair or carnival in a public park. It was not a private event, where APD would need a search warrant to enter. If a member of the press walks beside a politician asking questions in this kind of setting, it is a totally legitimate, and a constitutionally protected right, and one of our most sacred rights. The "trespassing" claim by Miller’s skinhead security is a trumped up charge. Mr. Hopfinger was aggressively but peaceably exercising his First Amendment "freedom of the press" rights, and Joe Miller‘s security goons violated those rights. Superintendent Comeau should ban Joe Miller and his henchmen from all public school buildings as a civic lesson for ASD school children.
Claims from Miller that their guards didn't initiate any pushing are certainly made pretty hollow when you see them pushing Mauer and Burke back on that video.
Are we expected to believe that didn't act aggressively prior to that when it appears that more than just these SS (secret service) wannabes surrounded Hopfinger?
Um .. I don't think so Joe (if that is your real name) Miller.
Welcome to joe millers Amerika.
and an interesting but not accredited one
I would suggest the media look into William Fulton and his relationship with Joe Miller. Last summer I went into the Drop Zone, hoping to find some military surplus gortex rain pants. While I didn't find that, I did find a drunk and belligerant William Fulton. Him and some of his friends were openly drinking beers and were obviously inebriated. They used racist language, and on multiple occasions, told a customer he was "a f#$^@g dirty jew." These people at the drop zone were clearly white supremecist/milita style scumbags. I would strongly enocourage the media to look at the relationship between Joe Miller and these racist white supremacists, namely William Fulton. This was my experience with the man, and if these are the type of people what Joe Miller hangs out with, our state is in grave danger.
BIG UPDATE!
This really isn't Joe's month!

Due to the discovery of our reader older_wiser we can reveal that the business license for "Dropzone Security Services", 3701 SPENARD ROAD, ANCHORAGE AK 99503, owned by William F. Fulton expired on 31/12/2009 and was NOT renewed!
The company belonging Mr. Fulton, who was pictured in the above clips, is currently not licensed for providing security services. Joe Miller therefore employed the services of a "rogue" security company, so to speak. ;-)
Sticking a sneaky little update in here for anyone still reading...........

According to Nate Silver, this race could go any which way, let's help it go Scott McAdams way!

Those of us hoping to get a good night’s sleep on Nov. 2 might not be pleased with the latest developments in the Alaska Senate race, where polls suggest a drop in support for the Republican nominee, Joe Miller. That could enable either Lisa Murkowski — the incumbent who lost the Republican primary to Mr. Miller but is running a write-in campaign as an independent — or perhaps the Democrat Scott McAdams, to win the race instead.
