Does President Obama really want to preserve Bush's tax cuts? I doubt it. Elections have consequences, and unfortunately we must face a new political field. I am a wealthy student, and have not been burdened with any type of debt my entire life. Although marginally employed at times, I've had a rich dad to pay the bills while I worked my way toward entering law school.
My parents are from India, where bureaucracies and corruption run rampant. Social justice is a concept which people openly mock in India. In America, there is surely corruption, but because of an open press and frequent elections, you can never be too comfortable in Washington.
What is the point of giving more money to our family. My father has two sons who are going to go to law school debt free, 2 houses, 4 horses, 80 acres of land, and takes enough vacations to be content. I'm not saying he doesn't earn his money (believe me working 70 hours a week as a surgeon should pay off) but without being arrogant....rich people in the midwest really have nothing to buy.
Do conservative economists really expect rich people to spend their way out of this economy? None of my rich friends want to live like spoiled brats, buying houses and boats and loose women (just kidding)....we lucky assholes with disposable money don't want to buy anymore websites. We aren't going to buy up restaurants. We don't need boats, or louis vuitton luggage. We just want to get to work.
