It's already started with Bachman's raving about the '200 million dollar a day Presidential trip to Asia' on Anderson Cooper. Her refusal to answer his question about where the cuts in the Federal Budget will start is typical. John Boehner telling many boners refuses to let anyone know about those 'tricks up his sleeve'. Meanwhile Cantor the 'ranter' is running a slash and burn on the budget today. Andrew Card on Anderson Cooper last night was hilarious! At one point he said it wasn't Cooper's airtime even though he was on Cooper's show. If you haven't seen the interview google it it's better than Jon Stewart! If only the media had confronted Republicans this way for the past two years this past election would have turned out very differently.
We already should know their strategy will be to pass the most outragous legislation knowing full well either the Senate will stop it or President Obama will veto it. In 2012 they will claim they tried to improve the economy but were stopped by the Democrats. My other thought on this, being a Gemini, is that they were really desperate to gain control of something because they knew the economy was improving, as today's job report shows. It would've been impossible for them to win in 2012 with a revived economy and the Dems in total control. It's probably a combination of the two and all this would be funny if it weren't for the very serious consequences of this election.
The media is wasting no time in minimalizing President Obama and the Democratic Senate. No suprise here they've acted as though the Republicans were never out of power. Perhaps the Anderson Cooper I saw last night is the start of a new media trend. Well it is what it is and I only hope the Republicans let loose to show the world it really will be the new 'Republican Nuthouse'.
