Watching the news about Wikileaks has been very scary: How is it that governments and corporations around the whole frigging world can cooperate together in the common goal of harassing one man and his organization?
Sweden comes up with fishy "rape" charges.
Amazon kicked wikileaks off its servers.
PayPal, owned by eBay, disabled payment of contributions to Wikileaks.
Visa disabled payment of contributions to Wikileaks.
British authorities arrest Assange and deny him bail as they arrange to extradite him to Sweden.
Tin hats or no tin hats, this sure looks like some sort of One World Corporatist Government (OWCG) responding very peevishly and punitively to having some of its secrets revealed to public scrutiny.
If that idea seems too farfetched for you, how about simply recognizing that the frigging class warfare is GLOBAL?
Global Class War: How America's Bipartisan Elite Lost Our Future - and What It Will Take to Win it Back, by Jeff Faux, published by John Wiley & Sons, 2006.
OK, OK, but you’re wondering about my alleged connection between HRs on DailyKos, and Assange being put in jail. Clearly, there has been a significant shift in opinion here against President Obama. And a number of Obama supporters are lashing out, very peevishly and punitively, it seems to me. (I am referring to the HRs on the tip jar for the diary, not the diary itself.)
I’m just going to give you two quotes from two recent articles by Chris Hedges. Read the entire articles if you dare.

And,
Happy as a Hangman
But the state can rely on a huge number of people who, for work and meager benefits, will transform themselves into willing executioners. The reconfiguration of American society into a corporate oligarchy is conditioning tens of millions not only to passively accept state and corporate crimes, but to actively participate in the mechanisms that ensure their own enslavement.
And, people should also contemplate what’s being done in Canada to leaders of the protest against the G-20 meeting in Toronto.
It becomes more clear every passing day that if you're not opposing the global corporatists, you're enabling them.
