Ho,ho,ho---Merry Christmas!!! (And to the non-Christian friends-May the Spirit of the season be with all of you.)
Santa has arrived on this pre-Christmas Eve nite----and with him are plenty of goodies: Mostly in the form of lively traditional holiday songs. Now Santa is VERY busy---so this will be short....The elves will have to do most of the work---as always.
So...at this late time, everyone's so busy; follow Santa below the fold....
First, Santa always prepares a little eggnog, this helps keep Santa warm....
Now, as Santa has so much to do---he is going to keep this brief: All you elves will have to help out----did you think you were going to get a free ride???
There are hundreds of traditional Christmas songs---most have been heard so many times--it's almost too much. Some have been done so poorly; it IS too much.
So in that vein; and in the spirit of looking for help from my elves---Santa offers the best of the best; in 10 categories: Agree or disagree---you fill in what YOU elves think.
However---First; Santa believes---no matter what, the first sounds of the Christmas season must be sung by The Ray Conniff Singers (Traditional is important to Santa)

I wish to close by saying that while tragedy and horror have wracked the Gulf---it also spurned an incredible community known as the Gulf Watchers--for which I am truly thankful to be part of. There is no greater love than that which each of you has shown to me; and to each of us here in this community.
May the wonderful Spirit of Christmas be with you all.
----and, with that, please pass the wine.......
