George Soros, the billionaire Democratic activist, recently, and to
wide publicity said that if Pres. Obama did not start showing more
and better liberal-progressive leadership, the smart money would
be looking elsewhere to put its political money.
Good! So far, good! BUT .... is there another step to take first?
What if we'd had some big-money, influential coaching in Sept. of Obama,
as follows -- Soros asks to see Obama and proposes to pay for a 15-minute
nationwide all-network primetime speech by Obama on the Sunday before the
Nov. election with the understanding that Obama will scorch the Republicans
and in very blunt terms, perhaps quoting the famous Truman 1948 Iowa farmers
speech, reminded Americans who is on their side and called on all
Americans to get out and vote Democratic because Republicans will
otherwise work against the interests of the large American working
class of voters. This would be in his own words but it had to be hot
and provocative.
Obama would have gotten huge press on Monday .... then with the election on
Tuesday, the results might have been a lot better.
I am writing this quickly, so it's not too polished, forgive me; but the
above is what I call "coaching" -- I don't think Obama is getting much;
at least he's not acting like it. Is he too headstrong to take it? Do the
big banks Really own him? DO THEY? We need to know.
It is time for all major Democratic leaders to start joining Howard
Dean and the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party to call for
a lot more action by Obama. Now!
