Do not recommend this diary, it's more of a "Quick Hit".
I thought I'd post this story , though, because it should be on everyone's radar as a potential incident of political violence based on this snippet from the news story.
A parent who saw the incident told 7NEWS that the gunman kept mumbling to himself, "I'm fighting for freedom. I'm fighting for freedom," as he was being taken down.
The shooter was 32 years old Bruco Eastwood, and he timed his attack to coincide with the dismissal of students as they were streaming out to buses and carpools.
The incident did create a bona fide hero out of a math teacher, David Benke, who tackled the gunman shortly after the shooting began. Again, like the title says, there were two wounded students and no fatalities. The students' injuries are not life threatening. A lot of the witness interviews on TV were of students, so there are a ton of terrified kids.

Pretty crazy that this middle school is so close to Columbine. Littleton really is a nice middle class Denver suburb. This incident is sure to reactivate the trauma felt by the citizens of that community.
All the Denver news agencies are all over this, so if you want more info, go to denverpost.com, cbs4denver.com, thedenverchannel.com and 9news.com.
In any event, based on the deluded rantings of the shooter as he was tackled, this story might have a political motivation to it.
