Headline in Times reads: Talks With G.O.P. on Financial Bill at ‘Impasse,’ Dodd Says
http://www.nytimes.com/...
This is why Democrats are losing the PR war. It should read: Dodd Charges GOP With Obstructionism. And it should a ignite a battle in the media between the two parties. Wherein Democrats should have a clear, consistent message, and facts to back it up -- a strategy in other words. A below-the-belt head butt's the only way to get attention on this playing field.
It's not The Times fault; it's the Democrat's messaging machine. Civil discourse died on the lips of Dick, Go-Fuck-Yourself Cheney. Dodd hasn't raised any stink; the media's not going to do it on their own. We need Republican obstructionism as the narrative focal point of debate going into this year's elections. It's going to take some name-calling.
