Obama can benefit by doing what he should have done in the first place . . .
Vice President Joe Biden has been . . . adequate. But President Obama deserves better.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has demonstrated why she could be President by how she has handled herself and represented our nation in her current position. Clinton has worked tirelessly to implementing President Obama's goal of changing the world's perception of our country for the better. Clinton and President Obama seem to work well together.
Vice President Biden has been a gaffe machine. In the book "Game Change", it seems President Obama was exasperated with Biden's inability to control his mouth. Check out http://www.washingtontimes.com/...
Hillary Clinton built quite a constituency in the Democratic Primaries, winning primaries in California, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Arizona, Indiana and New Hampshire, just to name a few. Hillary Clinton still has a lot of very passionate followers who would be energized if she were on the ticket.
While I was a Hillary Delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention, I was high on an Obama candidacy and contributed and campaigned in a swing state for him. I attended President Obama's inauguration. I think President Obama has been a great President in how he has gracefully dealt with the economic mess he was left. President Obama's stimulus plan will be hailed. President Obama has carried health care reform further towards passage than any other President and he still could pass some significant reforms. President Obama has repaired our country's image abroad. With the drop in unemployment, our country is seeing the fruits of the Obama economic approach.
But President Obama may need some help in the 2012 campaign. President Obama also needs help governing the nation. Hillary Clinton has shown she is an asset to President Obama.
Vice President Biden has just not been the partner President Obama deserves.
Hillary Clinton should be the Democratic Nominee for Vice President in 2012.
