As most of you know, David Beckham tore an achilles tendon yesterday.
As John Boehner recently told Fox News, we
have the best health care system in the world by far and having the government take over health care... is a dangerous experiment with the best health care system in the world that I don't think we should do.
Last I saw, HCR had not yet passed... The American healthcare system must still be "the best health care system in the world," right? So which American Hospital will be called upon to repair Beckham's achilles?
AP:
Beckham left a private jet on crutches at Turku [Finland] airport and was whisked away in an SUV. Minutes later, he arrived at the Mehilainen hospital surrounded by security guards amid cheers from hundreds of fans who had gathered outside the entrance.
WHAT!!??? Beckham boarded his PRIVATE JET and flew to a country with a publicly funded system of healthcare to fix his Lloyd's of London-insured ankle. For God's sake... He could have flown that PRIVATE JET anywhere. Beckham's choice of hospital must be due to head trauma.
After all, how could Finland compete in any medical field when it only spends a little more than half that of the United States as a percentage of GDP:
I wonder if I could get a hold of David to remind him which country has the best healthcare system... he is obviously about to make a big mistake. When it comes to healthcare, there are only two choices... the U.S. of A. and Costa Rica.
