Let's not forget, we are still up against a formidable opponent (h/t Colbert) in the Republican opposition to HCR everything the Democrats do. In fact just today Pete Sessions (R-TX) said:
all House Republicans are planning to go to the Rules Committee [with ammendments]

This is an effort to slow the process down entirely and delay voting in the Senate. The Republicans will throw everything at the process now, and pull out every procedural trick to stall, delay, and otherwise thwart the will of the majority of Americans (although at the behest of the majority of their campaign contributors)...
And it's not just the House. Talking Points Memo reports that the Senate will take up extraordinary stall tactics against this bill, as well. Minority Leader McConnell (R-KY) confirmed the move in the House to reporters today.

So despite deficit reduction, closing the Medicare Donut hole, expanding coverage, removal of the sweetheart deals (from the Senate bill), stricter regulations over the insurance companies, etc., Washington still needs to hear our voice of encouragement in moving the vote along.
