So the Republicans who whine continuously regarding "comity" and Democratic behavior posted this gem on Red State and all while complaining how the world has gone bad because of a lack of civility. Well see below for an example of this raving hypocrisy.
Over at Red State Congressman Neugebauer (R-Planet Insanity) issues this non-apology over his outburst calling Bart Stupak's amendment a "baby killer". Here is his comment:
I am Randy Neugebauer, the Congressman who said the Democrat’s health care bill is a baby-killer. Now, Democrats are demanding that I apologize for it. I think Red State is a good place to respond to that request, and Erick Erickson was kind enough to allow me to do so.
While the floor of the House was the wrong place to shout out my objection, the fact remains that this legislation will kill babies. And yet, in the face of bi-partisan opposition, Democrats passed the bill anyway.
We now have a clear mission. We must fight like the lives of our children depend upon it. They do. I will fight to repeal this bill. Will you?

Let's break this down.
He thinks that redstate.com is a good place to apologize to Democrats and America? A P.O.S. website bordering on inanity with an editor who thinks he is a "great conservative" warrior is the best place to issue an apology for acting like a three year old. Uh-huh.... That makes sense. No putting it out there in more places that are way more widely read. No, pick the "Outer Siberia" of the web to apologize.
Now this wouldn't make sense unless.... you are not planning on apologizing at all. And the comments made by this fine Rep, kind of say it all.
Now let's break this down - First he says this bill is going to sponsor "killing babies".... Really? I would like to see where they can cite exactly where the bill specifically funds "killing babies". Ohhhhh they mean abortion.. you mean a program that is legal in the United States. Well now that is different. Now the anti-government Republicans want to have the government tell business what services they can and cannot offer. Interesting.
But here is the better part of the "apology":
And yet, in the face of bi-partisan opposition, Democrats passed the bill anyway.
Oh crap. A majority ruled in the United States? How can this be. I didn't realize that in the United States if people from Democratic and Republican parties vote against something BUT are not the majority - well that shouldn't pass. This is a direct threat to American Democracy or at least a shot at majority rule.
This is no apology. The venue is an idiotic place and the argument doesn't make sense.
It's no surprise but it is sad.
