Ha.
Okay, if your office was shot, wouldn't you know which day it happened?
And if you were not so smart and got your days mixed up, wouldn't you at least check on the date before having a big press conference where you spewed it out and fanned the flames that are already burning out of control?
WTG Cantor. You really dampened things with your little baby rant.
For those of us who are not in the bathroom wretching after listening to Eric Cantor's hissy fit in front of the microphones a little bit ago, you may want to check out the Richmond Times-Dispatch, which is reporting that Cantor can't remember when his office was shot.
Yea, he can't remember.
UPDATE: Cantor says shot fired at campaign office building
Rep. Eric Cantor says this afternoon that a gunshot was fired through a window of his downtown Richmond campaign office building either last night or two nights ago.
There were no injuries or other details immediately reported. Cantor, in an interview with the Richmond Times-Dispatch, said he doesn’t know whether the shot was random or aimed at the building.
He said he doesn’t know if anyone was in the building when the shot was fired. Richmond police are investigating, he said.
Okay Mr. Smarty Pants, what exactly DO you know?
Listen folks, this is irresponsible. How dare he come out on the premise of dampening down the flames and instead blaming the victims and irresponsibly spewing out words that he can't back up.
Hey Mr. Cantor - come back and give us details man. You are like a little boy who hits and runs away and hides.
SMALL UPDATE:
USATODAY is reporting:
James Mercante, a police spokesman in Richmond, Va., says the department is preparing a statement about the incident at Cantor's office.
Also reported was a phone call to Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Ohio, who got a hostile phone message according to her spokesman:
In the obscenity-laced message, the caller referred to a 2008 incident where Schmidt was hit by a car while jogging, saying "you should've broke your back."
The message was reportedly forwarded to Capital police as a precaution.
