I had so much fun for the ROSES NOT ROCKS campaign, that I wondered if any would want to organize a Mothers Day Flower delivery for Michelle Obama?
I am not tech/pr/organizing savvy enough to do it myself, but if anyone else cares to help out, I think we could manage another lovely day for a well deserving woman. I am sure that Coast to Coast would do it, or we could use another florist of Dkos's choice.
The timing would let us have a bit more time to plan this, and incorporate many DKOS ideas into the campaign if we wish. I think Brainwrap's Roses not Rocks was awesome, and would like to keep the good karma flowing...
Michelle Obama has always been special to me. And I'd love to show her how much I love and appreciate her too. I know that Coast to Coast flowers has offered me several nice discounts on flowers for future orders via emails. My mom is allergic, but since Michelle is a gardener, I'd bet she's not. I want to send flowers to someone for Mothers Day!
Since this is an idea for Mother's day campaign, feel free to pick it up and run with it, improve on it, or rip it to shreds as the feeling strikes you. If someone wants to do this though, I think it'd be great pr for us again, and a lovely gesture to thank Michelle. I'm willing to help out, but not to be in charge...I'm just a shy hippie housewife.
It also will make the wingers head explode. Flowers for Michelle!!!!, insert many ignorant comments here by NeoNazis, KKKers, John Birchers, et c. I can see it now, they'll want to send tropical fruits, et c....
So does anyone want to organize this, or something else nice and positive for Mothers Day for Michelle? P.S. and don't you dare ask BRAINWRAP to do it, he's donated enough of his valuable worktime for one year;) Thanks for the great idea Brainwrap!

Update:
Okay, so I'm a hippie, I love flowers! I think that the world is a brighter, happier place because of them, even if all I can afford are plastic most of the time, or hand picked ones.
I will however concede the point that Michelle would probably appreciate a more practical gift. Donations to a charity, particularly food or gardening related would probably be the best suggestions here.
Feel free to honor Michelle as First Mom however you feel is best. For me, I'm sending her flowers and a donation in her name.
