Dahr Jamail, Noami Klein, Robert Fisk are all being censored according to Dahr Jamail..

These then are the reporters you should be listening to.
The diary has been edited to include Juan Cole's Statement. See his website for full Quotations should these be considered out of context.
While Juan Cole (who did not oppose the invasion of Iraq and now suggests contracting out to dark skinned people to continue to fight the war) labels Dahr Jamail as a "stringer" whose reporting is unreliable, it turns out that Dahr Jamail's claims that chemical weapons were in fact used by U.S. troops in Fallujah were true. Many innocent and presumably "guilty" were killed and forever injured. But it is also alleged by Jamail that poison gas was used. Bringing up of course, the question:What is the difference between George Bush and Sadaam Hussein?

Back to Juan Cole who is actually calling for a continuation of the war through subcontracting. His website is filled with useful facts. But his position is that he did not oppose the war to begin with and that he now supports the continuation of the war.
Juan Cole:"Up until early March of 2003, I was not forced to choose between Justice and the Rule of Law because it appeared entirely plausible that the UNSC would pass a resolution authorizing the war, or that a majority, at least, would vote for it. It was during that period that I said I could not bring myself to protest the building war. It was because I knew Saddam's mass murders, and thought there was still a chance that he could be removed within the framework of international law."
He has said that reports of the use of chemical weapons by the U.S. are absurd. The U.S. says it didn't use Napalm in Iraq: America uses "Mark 77". The difference between Napalm and Mark 77 isthe difference between Coke and Diet Coke. Perhaps Mark 77 burns are less bubbling on the bones.
Just today in Fallujah 5 American soldiers were killed and 10 wounded out of 19 in a military vehicle. The city of Fallujah will likely be punished en masse for this event.
It turns out that the brilliant Israeli strategies used against the Palestinians are being employed by our military.
This e-mail sent to Dahr Jamail the stringer reporter and unreliable source according to Professor Juan Cole.
"Near the city of Buhrez, five kilometers south of Baquba, two Humvees of American soldiers were destroyed recently. American and Iraqi soldiers came to the city afterwards and cut all the phones, cut the water, cut medicine from arriving in the city, and told them that until the people of the city bring the 'terrorists' to them, the embargo will continue."
The embargo has been in place now for one week now. He continued:
"The Americans still won't [allow] anyone or any medicines and supplies into Buhrez, nor will they allow any people in or out. Even the al-Sadr followers who organized some help for the people in the city (water, food, medicine) are not being allowed into the city. Even journalists cannot enter to publish the news, and the situation there is so bad. The Americans keep asking for the people in the city to bring them the persons who were in charge of destroying the two Humvees on the other side of the city, but of course the people in the city don't know who carried out the attack."
So we now see how American troops are being used in Iraq: As an arm of fascism. If there was any doubt that America has become fascist, it is time to put it to rest.
And what do the American people have to say about this? Nothing. It's ok just as long as they get put that Dutch guy in Aruba on trial so we have something good to watch on TV
