Dang! There I was, raisin' the stakes and all with a cocky "I'll see you and raise you..." etc etc and I just totally forgot that I was supposed to be doin' the Thursday pm WHEE. I feel like that last little pig that went whee, whee, whee... all the way home. Wanna join me?

Sorry to be so late with this, folks. Things didn't work out the way I'd hoped. If I had a more interesting story as to why, I would share it with you. Since I don't, how about a recipe?
Curry Carrot Chick Pea Soup
1 c ch onion
3 c sliced carrots
1 t curry pow
1/4 t nutmeg
salt
2 c water
1 can chick peas
1/3 c cashews
1 c soymilk
2 T miso
Saute onions 2 min. in 1-2 T olive oil, add carrots, curry powder, nutmeg and salt. Cook 2 min, add water and chick peas, simmer till veggies are tender. Blend until creamy 2 cups of the cooked mixture with the cashews, soymilk and miso. Pour blended mixture back into pot of soup stir and reheat gently to serve.
