After taking a two-week hiatus, I come back rested and energized. As usual, I rue I will review the week's top stories. I'll talk about Tiger Woods, Donovan McNabb, nuclear disarmament, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and that terrible mining accident in West Virginia. My special guest, Meteor Blades of the Daily Kos. Join me at 3 pm EST today, April 9th. This will be fun and entertaining.
There is plenty of news for me to cover. My radio show is always emphasized thoughtful, intelligent and entertaining discussion. With Supreme Court judge John Paul Stevens stepping down, who can Barack Obama appoint to the bench. He needs one Republican vote. This may be harder than it seems. This is to make his pick more conservative than I wanted. I was hoping with the second pick that he would get more liberal but now that doesn't seem to be happening. Look for me to have a special edition of my show featuring constitutional scholar Linda Monk. She will have the inside scoop -- she always does.
Barack Obama has signed a treaty with the Russians on nuclear proliferation. This is something that we've all said need to be done. We need to reduce the number of nuclear weapons that everybody has yet, the Republicans have stood up and opposed this treaty because killing somebody once is never enough.
All of this and more on this edition of the Errington Thompson show. Now this is what progressive radio is supposed to be!
