Since Rand Paul supports the unfettered right of businesses to discriminate based on race, sexual orientation, disability, and others, is Rand Paul also against the new Arizona racial profiling law?
To be consistent, he has to bemoan the overreach of government that was legislated by the Arizona government. Does he also think that while he considers illegal immigration to be wrong, the federal government shouldn't do anything about it? What are his views exactly on the Arizona law and if he is against the Arizona racial profiling law, I commend him (for different reasons than his possible rationale), but what will his tea partier base think about this? If he is for the Arizona law, how can he reconcile his support for the Arizona law and his libertarian view of government?
While we're at it, does Rand Paul believe that businesses should be allowed to hire whoever they want and the federal government doesn't have a right to regulate who the businessperson can hire? And should businesses be able to pay whatever wage they want even if it's below minimum wage and without the concept of overtime?
Rand Paul should answer these questions because the people of Kentucky have a right to know the views of the Republican candidate for Kentucky Senator.
