http://www.wimp.com/... Let's get the hay and straw trucks headed toward the spill now. Why can't we try this? It's just killing me that every minute of every day, the oil continues to pour out and we continue to see the bureaucractic machinations, untruths, and finger pointing in DC. It also seems like it's doing more harm than good to add the dispersion chemicals to the mix.
Please watch this extremely low-tech approach to helping to clean up the mess in the Gulf. It seems to me that we should get every haythrowing machine on the East Coast trucking towards this spill right now. Put them on every barge and boat that has a decent sized deck and have garbage skows and netted boats picking up with straw that has done it's job. I rushed through this to get it out there. How can we get this to someone who can help? Do the engineering techie types on this site think this is plausible?
