It's a short Diary
Look like MSNBC President Phill Griffin just heard our prayer (sigh ! but we still want David Shuster back). According to Keith Olbermann's twitter page, Lawrence O'Donnell just signed with MSNBC. He will host the 10 PM slot and COuntdown will be re-run at 11 pm
Big news: today we signed @LawrenceODonnel to host his own 10 PM show. Our re-air will move to 11PM. Date on both is TBD. Congrats L-O'D!
MSNBC hasn't officially confirmed it but since it's Keith Olbermann who broke the news on his twitter page, I guess the news is somehow confirmed by MSNBC.
UPDATE
HuffingtonMedia just confirmed it via twitter
UPDATE x2
HuffingtonPost has more on this story
UPDATE x3
VanitiFair confirmed the news as well :
O’Donnell has appeared on many of cable’s most beloved/disparaged eponymous programs, including The Rachel Maddow Show and Hardball with Chris Matthews. "Lawrence O'Donnell is an incredible talent, who our audience has gotten to know throughout the years, most recently as Keith Olbermann's principal guest host on 'Countdown.' It's great to have another anchor of his caliber on the network," said MSNBC president Phil Griffin.
