Why is the narrative not Leaders McConnell and Boehner and there coalitions are responsible for voting for $12 trillion of the $13 trillion in deficits? The message that only a small amount relates to the current administration does not resonate as strongly.
Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and there sycophants traipse around the airwaves as if they had absolutely nothing to do with this "out of control" deficit spending. The President's decision to "Look forward-not backward" has long been a sore subject for me. Everyday he should take responsibility for fixing the problems by reminding "simple" Americans that he did not cause the problem. Democrats need to remind the people everyday that the Republicans wrecked our economy and are not working to prevent it's recovery. They are certainly not acting as patriots and in my opinion are actually treasonous in their actions. No Democrat should ever go on any network without stating that these problems were caused by the Republicans. Why? Because it's true....We allow them to lie about the facts so much that many actually start accepting their lies as truth. Let's put these deficits where they truly belong on the Republican Congressional "LEADERS" who have never been called to task for their failed leadership (it wasn't Bush alone as they were his ENABLERS). Certainly I hope that Boehner's opponent is hammering him on this subject this election cycle.
