Jerome Armstrong listed this on OurCongress, but I'm not sure how many people actually read that site. This is an internal poll from Thomas' campaign, so independent polling will obviously be more even, but it's still good news considering how underfunded he is.

The Democrat Dave Thomas is doing great in the CO 7th race. He's just released polling results showing a dead heat (within the margin of error). They've also out-raised everyone else in the state--Democrat and Republican--for the last filing deadline.
CO CD 7 "is one of the most evenly divided in the nation" with 34% R, 34% D and 32% Other/Ind. and "was home to one of the tightest" Cong. races in '02. Pollster Jim Lauer: "From an objective standpoint, these results show that voters in Colorado's 7th District are not happy with the way their concerns are being addressed by their current U.S. Representative and that they desire a change of leadership in Congress" (campaign release, 8/5).
A Lauer Research (D) poll; conducted 7/22-26 for Dave Thomas for Congress; surveyed 443 likely voters; margin of error +/- 4.7% (release, 8/5). Tested: Thomas (D) and Rep. Bob Beauprez (R).
General Election Matchup
Thomas 45%
Beauprez 42
Undecided 13

Here's his website. If you know anyone in that district or in CO or who has some money to toss around, send them here. We can win that district far more easily than Tancredo or Musgrave's.
