If a TEA party can't make it in ultra-conservative Western South Dakota, it probably can't make it anywhere. Our local "Citizens For Liberty" has fractured itself into two warring parties...one of them being led by failed Gubanatorial Candidate Gordon Howie (who dodges his taxes diared in a previous entry) and the other led by acting President Barb Lindberg whom he annointed while he ran for Governor.

Ironically, neither group has officially incorporated so no one has any authority over anything. The TEA party has been collecting donations since they formed last year but there is no actual accounting of any of the funds. They donated to candidates in the primaries, but to the best of anyone's knowledge the figures are not available.
The really good news is that Citzens for Liberty were collecting funds to have Glenn Beck speak in Rapid City and give him a tour of Mt. Rushmore. I highly doubt anyone will want to contribute toward the $100,000.00 up-front fee that he charges. (yes, you heard that right...$100,000.00 must be raised first before a date is set)
Go TEA Party!!!!
