Apparently the president of GoDaddy is all for torture and doesn't care much about prisoners rights. When confronted with customers who disagree, he shrugs them off without a thought.
I'll certainly be leaving GoDaddy this week. I hope a lot of you will too, including DailyKos.com.

Close Gitmo? No way!! Think our interrogation methods are tough? Prisoners in
the Middle East talk quick. Here's why.
It has great insight including things like this
"Key prisoners at Gitmo still have not talked -- because our interrogation
methods are so weak -- perhaps too weak."
"The interrogation techniques at Gitmo are very mild.
It's important to note that to date, there have been no fatalities among the
prisoners at Gitmo. Some of the "terrible" techniques we are being decried
for using in Gitmo are sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, exposure to
cold and heat (as in a cold room), mental games, constant questioning,
etc. All of it, when compared to what has been done in the Middle East to
extract information from prisoners is mild, indeed."
The comments he posts get even better.
Here's a few exchanges
--------------------------------------------------
The fact that our people were brutally murdered will never justify our
brutality toward them. We can not, indeed must not, become like those who
attacked us. --<snip> Chris
Dear Chris,
I could not disagree with your comment more. I believe we owe it to those who
died on 9-11 and to ourselves to destroy all the bastards and their
supporters that were behind those attacks -- regardless of what it takes to
do so.

Some dismissing of customers.

I come here to renew my domain names and this ignorant B.S. is what I get? --PS
Dear PS,
Lucky you.

People who are tortured will say whatever you want them to say to stop being
tortured. Trained agents will also say whatever is required, but what they
say may not be the truth. There are sophisicated techniques involving drugs
and brain scanning that are much more effective and reliable than
torture. There is no evidence at all that Mohammed al-Qahtani would give up
all he knows under torture, and I find the implied suggestion that we shove a
burning poker in his anus to extract information to be abborent and
disgusting. -- Jim
Dear Jim,
I didn't suggest that we shove a hot poker up Mr. Qahtanti's anus -- that my
friend is your suggestion. Once said thought, I must admit I don't find it
repulsive. Seems the least we can do for him.
Appreciate your post,
Bob
And exactly what he thinks about his customers
--------------------------------------------------
Bob, you're taking Senator Durbin's comments the wrong way, and that's why
you just lost a customer. He read sworn testimony about the conditions at
Guantanimo Bay and called it what it was- torture. To say he's accusing our
military of being similar to the Nazis is to wilfully misread his comments to
score political points.
I think America can do better than just not being as bad as the Soviets or
the Nazis, Bob. Don't you? Can't we win this without starving and freezing
people? Without locking them up in Saddam's rape rooms? We beat the Nazis and
the Soviets, and we did it without torture.
(I live in New York. I grew up in New York. "Remember 9/11" doesn't count as
a response unless you did, too.) ==Jim
Dear Jim,
So I've lost another customer. Addios.
How are wars supposed to be fought. Do you fight them to win? I certainly
think so, and if you fight them to win anything goes. We're acting with
incredible retraint at Gitmo.
I don't understand your closing comment about 9-11. Do you?
