In China, reports emerge of snakes
escaping from poorly maintained cages.
Of course, this starts with an enterprising individual collecting hundreds (thousands?) of Cobra snakes. Why? Well to milk for venom and to sell as an herbal remedy.
Of course, the barn and the cages are poorly maintained. The snakes make their break.
What is interesting is the reaction by the Government. "Everything is fine, all snakes are caught. Only a few remain."
Villagers report otherwise, but reporting has been suppressed-bad for morale.
Yes, the classic signs of a coverup. Much like the BP oil spill.
