I was hoping it wouldn't come to this ever again, but here I am again. The new year started off with a bang when a pipe under our house broke and flooded the back hallway. Our landlord's insurance covered it, thankfully, but it meant that we went for over a week without a functioning bathroom or kitchen, which meant no dishes, no cooking, and no cleaning, resulting in hundreds of dollars for takeout and disposable cutlery and such. Then came the electric bill, telling us that running our space heater had more than doubled our electric and sent our bill quickly into the stratosphere, totaling over $500 for the last two months. I paid $100 to avoid immediate disconnect, and am making an arrangement on the rest, but that tapped out all but the last $30.00 we have to eat for the next week and a half (at the very least). All of my friends who usually help me out in situations like this aren't in much better positions, themselves, so I'm putting out a general call for help.
As you may or may not know by now, I'm a disabled artist and draw with my mouth. I do art when I can to supplement our income and help us get by, as you can see if you scan through my previous diaries. I recently tried to do some fund raising for charity with my drawing, but given the holidays I didn't get much of a response. Still, I tried.
Any and all help would be appreciated right now, and I'm willing to give discounts and knock off a portion of the price for my work just to get some commissions coming in, that's how desperate things are. Below are two of my most recent drawings which I did last night to give you a quick example of what I do. I also do pets, so if you have furry critters that you want drawn, I'm capable of doing those, too.
At any rate, I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and am very grateful to this community for all that you have done to help me and my family.
