The Letters to the Editor have started to trickle into this part of the world.
The writer claims all the poor folks on Social Security are going to be living down by the river in tents if the teachers are not forced to stop being in a union. He notes just those on fixed incomes. That term to describe the poor Social Security types has always irked me. Like my salary goes up every day I work as much as I want it to. These types are always 'poor mouthing' I can't afford another tax increase! Hey at least tomorrow you'll still get a damned check. Me? The working stiff, the stiff that is making sure your payments go though and don't bounce? I could be laid off tomorrow and where would I be?

B) Sell your paid off house that sits on 4 acres, and rent. I hear that renters don't pay any property tax. Oh sure our rent is increased every time property taxes go up, even though there are a dozen people here. Does the rent go down when taxes stay the same?
C) Get over yourself.
