Last night, I was working on eBay listings with my dear husband, and my MSN Messenger popped up with an IM from my friend Julie.
"Dood" was all it said.
So I tapped back the proper response "sweet".
Curious, I went on to ask what was going on to make her ping me with such a ... statement? Anyway, I wanted to know what she was on about.

Well, yes. We did. Rich found an old Hoover 918 in his picking travels, and thought some collector might like it, so he picked it up. People who buy vintage vacuums like to know that they work, and a video is better than a verbal description, so we did this:

Funny, no? Honestly, it's not nearly as funny as the guy who was extolling the virtues of his Patriot canister vacuum while talking about the end of the world and petting his cat. But I sure hope it sells the Hoover!
