Just want to re-introduce myself to the DailyKos community. I frequented this site back in the days before Obama was elected POTUS. I won't go into detail on my feelings about Obama, though I will add that I don't follow the birther crap and I'm actually sick of listening to it.
My real reason for coming back is to let the DK community know of my own blogging.
I'm not sure who's been around long enough to recall my posts on DK regarding native american issues, especially those concerning Abenakis in VT.
I eventually joined the VT Commission on Native American Affairs after my post ridiculing the St.Francis/Sokoki band of the Missisquoi Abenakis (of which I was once affiliated). This thread can be found below:
Shaking Up The Tribe
Since then, a long strange road has unfolded.
The commission I was a member of dissolved last year due to the passage of a bill known as S.222, basically an act to recognize Abenakis in the state of Vermont.
Since the commission I was a member of disbanded, the type of people that came afterward have been incredibly biased, spiteful and full of lies.
Not to worry. I initially started out with a blog called "Vermont Native Journal". This later morphed into my latest blog, "Vermont Native Justice". In the beginning, the first blog was rough around the edges. However, I believe the blog I am running now is at least a small step above the first blog I did, though that is open to anyone's interpretation.
Blog address is here:

I have to admit that it's been a roller-coaster ride the past 3 years.
You can reserve your judgment until after you view the link, if you choose to do so.
I have no regrets and no apologies for what I have done to bring down people that I feel are defrauding the State of Vermont into recognizing them as legitimate Abenaki indians.
Just thought I'd drop my line in this pond again.
Be well, DailyKos. I have not forgotten what you did for me all those years ago. It has turned me into a blogger for a cause.
