You know, I have kept my cool through a lot of crap that the Republican's our supreme leaders in Fitzwalkerstan have thrown at us. The more I read about what these idiots smarter than the average people are doing not only here in Wisconsin; but across this great nation of ours...the more pissed off I get!
Lets start with number one on my list...the Republican attack on Microbreweries. I like my microbrews. They are locally produced and unlike their larger cousins Anheuser Busch and Miller/Coors, they are American owned. But, the Republicans don't like American owned breweries - because they don't give them enough money. That's right folks...the big boys of the brewing industry, the wholesalers, the tavern league and the grocery association in Wisconsin have joined together to give us a bill that kills competition. The big boys don't like the fact that the little guys have a 5% share of their pie.
Why is this a big deal, this bill essentially kills the idea of a local microbrewery from having more than two brewpub locations and forces microbrewers to go through a distributor to sell their product. Sounds to me like the big boys are afraid of competition from someone who produces a far better product...which is why they are trying to hold on to outdated laws from the time prohibition ended.

Now...not only are the Republicans messing with my beer...they are also just being flat out stupid in other areas. A budget item written by AT&T:
The Joint Finance Committee voted Friday to force the University of Wisconsin System to return the money and no longer support WiscNet, a non-profit cooperative that brings high-speed Internet services to about 75 percent of public schools in Wisconsin and nearly all public libraries.
State superintendent criticizes budget committee for threatening WiscNet
How much money will be returned...$39 million dollars. Why will that money be returned. Because AT&T does not like the competition. In the previous version of this article one on the Republican senators stated, "The UW should not be in the telecommunications business." Well, AT&T was not meeting the needs of the state...and that is why the state set up WiscNet in the first place!
And finally...we get to the 2nd ranking Jack-Ass in Wisconsin...Senate Majority leader Scott Fitzgerald:
Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald fully endorsed the idea Tuesday of fielding fake Democrats in recall elections against Republicans in an effort to delay the general elections.
I thought we had a budget crisis in this state:
He also said holding the recall elections were costly for taxpayers. By forcing primaries with fake candidates, those costs will only climb.
Fitzgerald embraces idea of running fake Democrats in recall elections
So...it is costly...and we are having a budget crisis...and you want to spend even more money!? Really?!? Do you really think the people of Wisconsin are this stupid? Unethical, stupid idiots in the Republican Party. Runnung fake candidates for office. What happened to ensuring that our elections were fair, above board and honest?
And to top all of this off, I know I said finally in the last section, this!
When asked if metal detectors would leave the building if the controversial budget is passed, Tubbs seemed to signal a new day may have come.
"In a lot of government buildings in places you go throughout the country, this is the norm," he said. "To rely on the laurels that everything is going to be OK, you just can't do that anymore."
Capitol Police Detail Future Security - Additional Officers May Be Possible
Mr. Walker, Mr. Fitzgerald. Give us our Capitol back. It is not yours, it belongs to the people. Our State Constitution states that the people of Wisconsin must have free and open access to that building. If you do not give it back, we will take it back...and you will both find yourselves out on your asses!
